Miss Teen World

THE PAGEANT

Miss Teen World is a world-renowned teen pageant based in Ecuador, established in 2001 by Cesar Montece.

The very first winner to be crowned Miss Teen World was Morgana Montes from Brazil at just 18 years old.

The pageant has opened the doors to the contestants, who represented her country tried to win the crown and become “the most beautiful teen woman in the world”.

Throughout these years, the Miss Teen World Organisation, its contestants and winners has cooperated institutions like “Kinderzentrum”and the “Herta Seebass” Foundation that help children who have Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, hyperactivity, language and physical problems, congenital or acquired, Sociedad de Lucha Contra el Cancer (Society to Fight Cancer), a.k.a. SOLCA in Ecuador, Fundación Amigos del Niño con Leucemia y Cáncer (Friends of the Child with Leukemia and Cancer Foundation) a.k.a. FANLYC in Panama and the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the United States of America.

History

90's

Miss Teenager World was founded by Cesar Montece, president of Queen of Ecuador Inc., a company that organized beauty events at nationally and internationally.

2001's

Cesar Montece founded Miss Teen World in 2001, as a sister pageant to Miss Teenager World, to promote tourism in Ecuador.

2005's

South Africa became the first country to win back-to-back titles with Kaylan Hamel, Noelé Joubert and Charlotte Smith in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

2010's

Sadly, Cesar Montece, our CEO and founder passed away on March 31, 2010. His sister Rosa assumed the presidency of the company.
