Miss Teenager World was born, under the direction of Cesar Montece, president of Queen of Ecuador Inc., a company that organized beauty events at nationally and internationally.
2001's
Cesar Montece founded Miss Teen World in 2001, as a sister pageant to the prestigious Miss Teenager World, to promote tourism in Ecuador.
2005's
South Africa became the first country to win back-to-back titles with Kaylan Hamel, Noelé Joubert and Charlotte Smith in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
2012's
Rosa Montece, president of Queen of Ecuador Inc. sold all the rights to the Miss Teen World pageant to Rodrigo Moreira, on October 10, 2012, who subsequently obtained the Miss Teenager World trademark and another teen pageants.
